Week 15

Junebug "now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces. She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but she is forming taste buds."

How far along: 15 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: -3 lbs. (from pre-pregnancy weight)
Maternity clothes: Not yet. But I do have to wear a BeBand with my dress pants for school...but my jeans fit fine.
Stretch marks: I don't think I have any yet!
Sleep: Getting plenty...but getting up about every 3 hours to go to the restroom
Best moment this week: Telling Rob's grandma, aunts, uncles, and cousins about our Junebug
Movement: As seen, Junebug's moving all around - I'm just not feeling it yet.
Food cravings: I have been craving more salty stuff recently...I still love fruit (such as applesauce, mandarin oranges, peaches, apples, etc.)
Gender: ???
Labor Signs: None!
Belly Button in or out: In
What I miss: Being able to sled with all of the snow around...
What I am looking forward to: Picking out nursery bedding. It's been fun to really look at ideas this week.
Weekly Wisdom: Always carry antacid tablets...you never know when heartburn may hit.
Milestones: We got to hear Junebug's heartbeat again on Dec. 21. It was beating about mid-160's...
