Junebug...

On October 16, 2010...Rob and I had been to the store earlier that day and picked up some pregnancy tests. We were relaxing at home, watching tv, and I just couldn't stop thinking that I might be preggo. So I snuck back to our bathroom and took the test. I waited (for what seemed like an eternity) and was amazed when the stick said "pregnant"!! I kept my composure and walked calmly out to the living room (with the stick in hand) and handed it to Rob. He was so surprised!! :) We wanted to tell everyone within hearing distance, but realized that we needed to keep it under wraps until the riskiest period was over.

October 17 was a busy day! We went to church, like normal. Then we decided to drive to Richmond to meet Tony, Kyna, Tony II, Rett, and the girls for lunch and announce our pregnancy to them. They were delighted and surprised!! As soon as we finished lunch, we drove back to Indy to go to my parents and informed them about their new grandparent-to-be status (on what happened to be their 29th wedding anniversary). My brothers were also at my parents so it was Rob's job to tell my brothers. He decided to send them a simultaneous text that said "Congratulations! You are going to be an uncle." Of course, they were both ecstatic!

We are expecting our Junebug to arrive around June 20. Overall, I have felt great...my only complaint has been tiredness, but it's getting better. Needless to say, Rob and I are beyond amazed that God has blessed us with this little Junebug!
